Paul Mount, 38, Anthony Saunderson, 42, and Darren Owens, 48, were all the principal organisers in the group and were all involved in the wholesale dealing of controlled drugs on a massive scale.
The gang who produced £6 million of class A and B drugs to distribute across Great Britain have been jailed for more than 187 years. Nine men were sentenced this morning for their part in the 'industrial scale' production and supply of injectable amphetamines, cocaine, heroin, ketamine and other drugs.
It is estimated that Class A and B drugs, valued at more than £6 million, were either supplied or offered for supply between April and June 2020 across England, Wales and Scotland by an organised crime group. The evidence was unearthed as part of an Encrochat enquiry with evidence linking.
It also emerged that the gang were producing amphetamine for intravenous use making it a Class A controlled drug instead of its normal Class B classification. Two of the gang’s ringleaders also made attempts to get hold of weapons in the months before they were brought to justice.
